Our Commitment
Coordinated wealth tends to flow back out into the communities that helped build it. K&K shows up in Richmond through volunteer hours and partner relationships, and globally through a free hospital project in Bangalore, India.
Preserve the past. Empower the present. Create the future.
How We Give Back
Giving back at K&K is measured in hours first, dollars second. The team packs food at Richmond pantries, volunteers at family shelters, supports a bee sanctuary, runs a 10k every spring for a cancer center, and writes checks to organizations the people inside the firm know personally. Same posture as client work: a handful of organizations, real involvement, year after year.
Love all serve all
Local Partners
Around ten partner organizations across food and hunger relief, families and children, environment and community health, and one global hospital project.
Cornerstone Farm and Shalom Farms grow fresh produce for area pantries; Atlantic Outreach Group runs grassroots food distribution with broader family support. K&K volunteers on planting and harvest days and supports the work financially.
Urban Baby Beginnings supports birthing families with prenatal education, doulas, and postpartum care across the region. The Doorways provides lodging and meals for families traveling for serious medical treatment.
Living Water Bee Sanctuary focuses on pollinator conservation, native plant restoration, and community education. Every spring the team runs the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10k, with contributions directed to the VCU Massey Cancer Center.
Richmond Montessori School, the Hindu Center of Virginia, and Water.org receive ongoing financial support. Water.org's work flows to long-running programs in India and East Africa.
Global Commitment
The largest single charitable commitment in K&K's history is the Sai Aashraya Super Specialty Hospital in Bangalore, India, a hospital being built to provide free specialty medical care to patients who cannot afford it.
In 2024, Paavan released Effortless Wealth. 100% of the net proceeds from the launch were donated to the Sai Aashraya project. The book was written to demystify proactive planning for first-generation wealth builders; the proceeds went to a hospital that will treat patients who'll never read it. That's the math we wanted from the launch.
The commitment is also a connective thread to K&K's planned India expansion (2026–2027) and the longer global build that follows. The communities the firm grows into are the communities we expect to give back to.

How We Choose Partners
The list grows slowly on purpose.
On the client side, the same posture shapes how we coordinate clients' own giving. The structural mechanics (donor-advised funds, charitable remainder trusts, qualified charitable distributions, appreciated-asset gifts) live on our charitable planning page.
If you'd like to join a volunteer day, run the Monument 10k, or learn more about Sai Aashraya, reach out. The full version of how K&K came to operate this way is on our story page. To explore how we coordinate charitable planning for clients, that lives on its own page.
